Hello, I decided to start blogging in English, so I'm currently writing new and translating old articles from my Czech blogs.
I have yet to translate a lot of articles, so it may take some time especially when I should do other things now. :D
Some of my old articles contain comments in Czech under them because I moved them with them from my old blog.

3rd England: After those AR BFI events (spooky evening trip for food, (dis)appearing entrance and (re)discovering super semi-secrets)

28 July 2023

In October 2022 I was in London to see the event "Madly Deeply: The Celebration of Alan Rickman" (+ a book launch of his diaries), some places connected to him in London and Juliet Stevenson's theatre play! :D

So of course that I want to have a description of this on my blog! :D

I went to see those events together with some other fans and these descriptions, that I'll post here, are already on a sort of public place (public can have access, access is not controlled as far as I know) and/but I thought that it would be the best to post it here in the form in which it's there and anonymize it as much as I can. Because now I'm confused about some things, if I interpret/interpreted some things that happened correctly, so I'm not active on that place and/but there were really nice things so I thought that my aforementioned solution would be the best. :)

2 October 2022 - part 3

This is about what happened after the events during the day! :D

So I’ve already seen myself at the hotel but I also wanted the evening to continue and to spend time with ladies and not to hurt their feelings so I followed them to Azzurrorestaurant.

But I wanted also to get some baked products and drinks and I wanted to do that immediatelly, so I confided with my plan to ladies in front of the restaurant. Fan 5 helped me find some shop and she showed me how to get there, she also walked with me around the corner. By the way, I found the area looking a bit weird with a confusing effect, maybe it was emphasised by the night lol :Dbut I found my way easily. I was nervous a bit of walking there alone in the dark.

But I made it into the shop and I just remember being nervous of the people here and I have only a distant memory that some were maybe loud and the security person was just talking to some at the checkout. I think that I went into Tesco Express. I didn’t see any fresh baked products already. I was thinking about that some products that would be packed could require further baking so I was trying to find some that I could directly consume (at least in the Czech Republic breads that are packed can be consumed directly). I found some unfilled croissants and I tried to see if there was written some instruction about baking but I didn’t find any after glancing and an attempt at searching so I decided to get 2 packs. They had drinks. So that was fine. As well as self-service checkout. I totally thought about taking a bag so I had where to put it. It was so heavy with the book and four/five drinks (Coca-Cola + water).

I was thinking about spending only a short time inside of the restaurant and not eating there because I didn’t want to put my mask off in an enclosed area, so when I probably before going to the shop saw McDonalds in Waterloo railway station and a sign pointing to KFC, I was thinking about expanding my diet of plain rolls (I didn’t get a breakfast at the hotel because I was lazy). But I didn’t want to go to McDonalds because of being nervous of drunk people in the evening at a railway station… So I dediced to go into a spooky tunnel :D (that lead in the direction of Azzurro) under the bridge to KFC. But I think that I was already having refreshments when walking so I wanted this for later. So I managed to get a drink and chips (I can’t eat KFC’s chicken hamburger or I may need to spend a lot of time at lavatory so I don't recommend that but chips are good and I didn’t want to try anything else) and went closer to the restaurant.

But then, the Azzurro's entrance disappeared! There was a wooden fence and it was no longer open, it looked seamless! I think that ladies wrote that it was opened until 23:00 but of course they had to have some time reserved for serving guests. So I was running around a bit trying to find a way, I didn’t go away. After some time I saw someone leaving and I think that an employee went out so I think that I asked her if I can go inside. So the told me that they’re closed but I told her about ladies who were already inside. She paused a bit I think, it was embarrassing, even more when I held that KFC bag.

But she allowed me to go inside and after going well inside and to another room on the left side I found ladies at a table close to bar (we had a table reserved)! So that was fine. I went to sit and I put my bag down. But then, after short time I found out that the drink leaked! So I was even more embarrassed, I came late, brought KFC in and at that moment I spilled a drink on the floor. It was nice that they had a large bin close so I asked another employee and I could throw it here. I wiped the floor with my tissues and I thow them here as well. So at that moment I didn’t have my delicious chips that I was looking forward to eating. I was embarrassed and annoyed and done a bit (but also thankful that I was at the events and I had the book) and I decided to order Coca-Cola and I was taking my mask off for sipping it, trying to hold my breath while having it off and taking big sips.

Shortly after drinking it I excused myself and talked with ladies about discussing our meeting tomorrow which I wanted and I left. I didn’t go to McDonalds or to KFC again, I went straight to the hotel.

At the hotel I looked into the book at dates that are important to me and I found out that only one of them is described here so now I know that Mr. Rickman probably wasn’t in Schlöss Moritzburg and Dresden on 11 December 2012 (I was especially looking around for him when I was abroad but then I was excited that I may meet him every time I went out, but then he had clear medical results so that is amazing).

But then, what I found there are also 2 places about which I knew – one of them was the place with the cat behind the window – I knew about it very well but I decided not to go there and I didn’t go there because I don’t think that it would be right without being invited (but I can see that one could want to see that) and because I would feel very guilty. And that was a reason why I also decided not to go and didn’t went to the second place to which I was close and about which I knew before organizing my trip, somehow didn’t notice that when organizing the trip and found out shortly after organizing the trip. And I decided not to go there even when I saw those places in the book released publicly. But then, now I’m thinking more about that they should’ve expected that if they would publish it fans might want to go to see that so you may feel less guilty if you were here. So partially I saw that I no longer knew those secret lol but I was also relieved that I didn’t know something that I wasn’t supposed to and that I was close to the second one (about which I was also excited).

I wrote to ladies about my plans where I want to go tomorrow. I think that I still had some roll left and I ate it and biscuits.

I think that this was also the time when I researched about Ms. Stevenson’s play – it is interesting itself but I wanted to go there because I wanted to see her again lol and I found out that on the next day, Monday, they have a day off and I think that I looked at Tuesday and I found out that I couldn’t make it because of going to the airport but I’m not sure if I remembered the time correctly when I looked then.

I also found out that the croissants had to be baked so I probably shouldn’t eat them so I didn’t have other food (I had more biscuits but I couldn’t eat more close to each other) but it didn’t matter much because I had a free day and I planned to go to the shop also for the butter as the first thing.

The next time it would be about the day when I went to see Mr. Rickman’s memorial bench, Kensington palace from the outside, his old house, Ottolenghi and Buckingham Palace from the outside! :D
